Events - Author Visits - Birthdays

I thoroughly enjoy invitations for author visits whether for classrooms, Mommy & Me socials, community events, literacy programs, and birthday parties.

Pricing - Flexible depending upon location. For local events in the San Francisco and San Jose, CA area, I do not charge for travel . The visit  for 1.5 hour visit is Free as long as 10 books are purchased.

 Visit Includes:

• Patulous is engagingly read by me with illustrations shown through my laptop & projector.
• School Assemblies available:
  Patulous, and The Power of Friendship with Creating A Bully Free Zone
  
• Class discussions are flexible and may address a variety of topics - appreciating similarities and differences, writing, illustrating, careers in publishing, Friendship with kindness & understanding versus bullying, name-calling.
• Art activity led by me. I provide most of the supplies for each activity. Flexible choices: bookmarks, or colorful flowers (using coffee filters), crazy caterpillars (out of egg cartons), 'stained glass' butterflies (out of wax paper & crayon shavings), coloring pages, or decorating picture frames. I do bring a life size banner featuring Patulous, Sammy, Lily, and Gabriella for picture taking.
• Birthdays are priced for a flat fee of  $150 for 1.5 hours of entertainment which includes, in addition to above , a special butterfly balloon as well as an autographed  hard cover book.
